About the Role
• Provide support in development of SLAM algorithm for an indoor robot to work in conjunction with autonomous system like drones.
• Research and develop solutions for the product's overall success.
• Responsible for timely deliverables and quality of work.
• Practice design thinking and lean startup methodologies in product development.
• C/C++ and Python experience.
• Writes and debugs production-quality code in ROS environment.
• Our robots depend on a variety of sensors to stay on track, we need a team member who understands LiDAR, IMU, TF/Depth Camera and rotary encoders.
• We work on Linux and so do our robots; our engineers need to be comfortable with this environment from a developer and user perspective.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in an engineering related program at B.S. or M.S degree level.
Have experience working in an indoor SLAM robotics projects.
Be Innovative, creative and enterprenurial.
Willing to learn and gain experience working in a startup environment.
